The present investigation had the objective to understand the fundamental existential motivations in adults with ASD, using an interpretive paradigm, based on a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological method, where a semi-structured interview was used to gather the required information. The 5 informants were selected intentionally through social media, following these characteristics: both sexes, ages between 20 and 35 years, located on any country in the world and that had a clinical diagnosis of Autism or Asperger’s Spectrum Disorder, with severity level 1. After the analysis, it was settled that the fundamental existential motivations are experienced as a process, whose main movement is generated from the difficult experiences that the adult with ASD experiences, leading them to receive the diagnosis that transforms their identity and, together with their personal projects, uses it to help people in various environments through awareness of autism, this being the main foundation of their meaning of life.
